Dan Brown’s break-away success novel catapulted the frontier science of Noetics into the global spotlight, introducing its readers to the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) along with science writer, Lynne McTaggart, both prominently featured in our film.
The Lost Symbol character Katherine Solomon is fictional, industry insiders have speculated that she is inspired by a real-life noetic scientist and a key participant in The Living Matrix film, Dr. Marilyn Schlitz.
Weaving an intelligent, compelling story, Brown refers to much of the same research presented in our film by the real noetic scientists, Marilyn Schlitz, PhD, president of IONS; Edgar Mitchell, PhD,US Astronaut, founder of IONS; Lynne McTaggart, author; Bruce Lipton, MD, PhD, cell biologist; and Rollin McCraty, Director of Research Institute of HeartMath.
As Brown's fictional character, noetic scientist, Katherine Solomon, so eloquently says, "The idea of universal consciousness is no ethereal New Age concept. It’s a hard-core scientific reality. . . and harnessing it has the potential to transform our world. . . What’s more it’s happening right now. You can feel it all around you. Technology is linking us in ways we never imagined possible: Twitter, Google, Wikipedia and others all blend to create a web of interconnected minds.”

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped spread the message of our film by hosting screenings, both small and large. We are pleased to share reports from a few of these events.
Dublin, Ireland
Danielle Vierling, who co-produced the Dublin screening with Buddha Bag, wrote us about their experience, “It was an exhilarating evening and definitely exceeded our expectations! We got loads of positive feedback. I believe we had about 200 + attendees… Quite a successful evening!" Buddha Bag taped the panel discussion, check out www.buddhabag.org
Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
We also heard from G.J. Stiles, an ardent supporter of the film, “I have been waiting 50 years for the information in the movie The Living Matrix to be available for the public. We had a wonderful turn out for our movie showing at the Anderson Township Community Theater in Cincinnati! After the movie we had a question- answer session, and everyone had such a great time they did not want to go home! I was very pleased with the turn out!”
Budapest, Hungary
Dr Kulin Sándor reports, "We organized our screening at the medical university, and had a big success with 600 participants, among them 200 MDs. We had a round table discussion afterwards with Hungarian scientists and we recorded it. There is a big demand from third parties to get permission for screenings."
St. Louis, Missouri
Kathleen Christ,"Our screening went very well - better than we imagined. We plan to offer a showing once a month somewhere in St. Louis city or county throughout 2010. Afterward, we had a panel of 5 people for a Q&A, and we had so many people staying for questions, that we finally had to move everyone outside to the parking lot, so the building could be locked for the night. We finally left about 11:15 PM. The next morning, my phone was ringing early with people calling to say how much they had enjoyed it, how much they had learned, and how professionally everything had been presented. It was very satisfying and rewarding."
